Zhuoer Zhong

As a designer with a background in interior design from the Glasgow School of Art, I am about to pursue a master’s degree in Design for Performance and Interaction at University College London. I excel at observing natural phenomena and social issues, identifying and addressing underlying problems through diverse design approaches. My creative process often begins with collage, hand drawing, and physical model making to explore initial concepts, followed by digital modeling and rendering to bring the final vision to life.

Here is a selection of four representative projects from my undergraduate studies. The first is a multifunctional flower shop located in the heart of Glasgow. The second is a rooftop renovation project in a village in Guangzhou, China. The third is a gym designed for the Glasgow city centre. The fourth is an interactive mask that monitors human emotions through heart rate.
